(including a 19,000 sq. ft. family -friendly entertainment use) <br />• Child Care: 8,563 sq. ft. <br />• Open Space: Approximately 40,000 sq. ft. <br />Figure 1: Illustrative Site Plan <br />Zoning and General Plan Designations: <br />• Blocks A and B are zoned MUC-ECR (Mixed -Use Corridor— EI Camino Real), with a General Plan <br />designation of Mixed Use — Corridor. <br />• Blocks C through E are zoned MULW (Mixed -Use Live/Work), with a General Plan designation of <br />Mixed -Use Live/Work. <br />• Block F is zoned DTPP (Downtown Precise Plan), with a General Plan designation of Mixed -Use — <br />Downtown. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Since initiating work, the consultant has collected data, prepared preliminary analysis, and completed the <br />Initial Study. In addition, the scope of the project has expanded to allow the applicant to produce <br />affordable housing units to offset the commercial development proposal. The applicant has acquired an <br />additional site located at 1304 EI Camino Real (labeled F) and increased the total number of residential <br />units. <br />The data needs and the expanded scope of work require an amendment to the previously approved scope <br />of work.
