6.B. - Page 16 of 28
Task 4 — Native American Heritage Commission and Native American Outreach
Consultant will confirm the applicability to 1304 EI Camino Real of the prior Native American Heritage
Commission (NAHC) request to search the Sacred Lands File and provide a list of potentially interested
Native Americans to contact regarding comments and/or concerns about cultural and tribal cultural
resources in proximity to this additional site. Consultant will revise the draft letters for the City of Redwood
City to send to Native Americans on the NAHC contact list to reflect the addition of the 1304 EI Camino Real
site, in support of compliance with Public Resources Code Section 21080.3.1.
Task 5 — Northwest Information Center Research
Consultant's cultural resources staff will conduct a records search at the Northwest Information Center for
both built environment and archaeological resources in support of the data collection for the technical report
and overall Project. If the NWIC records search identifies a resource in/near the property, an archaeological
survey may be needed and would be provided under a separate scope and budget. Similarly, the scope of
work does not cover any archeological resources requiring formal recordation or evaluation, but would be
provided under a separate scope and budget.
Task 6 — Technical Report
Consultant's cultural resources staff will prepare an archaeological and historical resource inventory and
evaluation and impacts analysis technical report that would include at a minimum: an introduction with
project description, fieldwork and methodology (including the results of the NWIC records search), NAHC
and Native American outreach efforts, historical contexts, description of historic -age property under study,
evaluation for historic significance and assessment of historic integrity, findings and conclusions,
bibliography, preparer's qualifications, and relevant mapping. If 1304 EI Camino Real is found to meet the
eligibility requirements as a historical resource for CEQA, Consultant will identify the character -defining
features and boundaries of the resource in order to inform the impacts analysis.
The technical report will also include an impact analysis of the Project on historical resources. The analysis
will include direct impacts of the Project to 1304 EI Camino Real (if it is found to be an historical resource)
and potential indirect effects of the Project to the nearby building at 1322 EI Camino Real (The Record
Man) based on the prior evaluation and designation of that property as a locally designated historical
resource.
Deliverables will be one technical report as an electronic copy in MS Word and PDF formats. Review cycle
of deliverables (draft to final) will be one round of consolidated comments by City staff. No other agencies
or groups will review the deliverables.
Schedule
Project setup and scheduling of the site visit will be completed within 15 business days of the Notice to
Proceed. The draft technical report will be provided to the City within 6 weeks following the site visit.
ATTY/AGR/2019/AMENDM ENTS/AM END NO.1 - AECOM
REV: 06-17-19 PR
37
