REV: 06-14-23 RL <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />1. SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS <br />A. Work Experience Program <br />Consultant will create volunteer work experience opportunities for people <br />experiencing homelessness in Redwood City (hereinafter "Team Members" or <br />"Team"). Team Members volunteer work experience will include, but is not limited <br />to, picking up litter, emptying trash receptacles in and around the Redwood City <br />Downtown area, or other mutually agreed upon areas of Redwood City as needed, <br />and supporting Encampment Waste Services in Redwood City. Team Members will <br />not work on City recognized holidays or during inclement weather. <br />i. Case Management <br />Each Team Member will be offered Consultant's unique opt-in and <br />individualized case management approach. Team Members are not <br />employees of Consultant. This model is designed to provide a supportive <br />environment and a pathway out of homelessness or housing insecurity and <br />a pathway toward stable employment and housing. <br />ii. Supportive Services <br />Consultant will provide support services to assist Team Members in <br />transitioning to permanent employment. Such services may include: job <br />search classes and personalized job search support, employment <br />development, developing internship placements, developing mentor <br />opportunities, and case management for employment related activities. <br />Consultant will also, through the use of their employees, explain and <br />promote all of the services that are available to homeless individuals, and <br />encourage homeless individuals to access these services. <br />B. Encampment Waste Services <br />Consultant will provide encampment waste services and respond to illegal dumping <br />waste services requests, which will allow Team Members to engage with <br />encampment residents and serve as a touch-point and entry way to resources and <br />services. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023/Amend.
