REV: 05-22-24 LF <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />1. SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS <br />A. Work Experience Program <br />Contractor will create volunteer work experience opportunities for people <br />experiencing homelessness in Redwood City (hereinafter “Team Members” <br />or “Team”). Team Members’ volunteer work experience will include, but is <br />not limited to, picking up litter, emptying trash receptacles in and around the <br />Redwood City Downtown area, or other mutually agreed upon areas of <br />Redwood City as needed, and supporting Encampment Waste Services in <br />Redwood City. Team Members will not volunteer on City recognized holidays <br />or during inclement weather. <br />i. Case Management <br />Each Team Member will be offered Contractor's unique opt-in and <br />individualized case management approach. Team Members are not <br />employees of Contractor. This model is designed to provide a <br />supportive environment and a pathway out of homelessness or <br />housing insecurity and a pathway toward stable employment and <br />housing. <br />ii.Supportive Services <br />Contractor will provide support services to assist Team Members in <br />transitioning to permanent employment. Such services may include: <br />job search classes and personalized job search support, <br />employment development, developing internship placements, <br />developing mentor opportunities, and case management for <br />employment related activities. <br />Contractor will also, through the use of their employees, explain and <br />promote all of the services that are available to homeless individuals, <br />and encourage homeless individuals to access these services. <br />B. Encampment Waste Services <br />Contractor will provide encampment waste services and respond to illegal <br />dumping waste services requests, which will allow Team Members to <br />engage with encampment residents and serve as a touch-point and entry <br />way to resources and services. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
