REV: 05-22-24 LF Exhibit “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE 1. SCOPE OF WORK/TASKS A. Work Experience Program Contractor will create volunteer work experience opportunities for people experiencing homelessness in Redwood City (hereinafter “Team Members” or “Team”). Team Members’ volunteer work experience will include, but is not limited to, picking up litter, emptying trash receptacles in and around the Redwood City Downtown area, or other mutually agreed upon areas of Redwood City as needed, and supporting Encampment Waste Services in Redwood City. Team Members will not volunteer on City recognized holidays or during inclement weather. i. Case Management Each Team Member will be offered Contractor's unique opt-in and individualized case management approach. Team Members are not employees of Contractor. This model is designed to provide a supportive environment and a pathway out of homelessness or housing insecurity and a pathway toward stable employment and housing. ii.Supportive Services Contractor will provide support services to assist Team Members in transitioning to permanent employment. Such services may include: job search classes and personalized job search support, employment development, developing internship placements, developing mentor opportunities, and case management for employment related activities. Contractor will also, through the use of their employees, explain and promote all of the services that are available to homeless individuals, and encourage homeless individuals to access these services. B. Encampment Waste Services Contractor will provide encampment waste services and respond to illegal dumping waste services requests, which will allow Team Members to engage with encampment residents and serve as a touch-point and entry way to resources and services.
