As I mentioned, something between .40 -.So makes more sense with a possible cap or tiered structure. This isn't a
simple matter and it requires more than just one meeting based on an arbitrary recommendation by the Planning
Commission.
Jim Tierney — Principal, Broker
DRE# 01197012
NetEquity Real Estate
From: [an Bain [mailto:ibain@redwoodcity.org]
Sent: Wednesday, August 7, 2019 9:40 AM
To: Jim Tierney
Cc: Diane Howard <dhoward@redwood city, org>; Council -Alicia Aguirre <aa uirre redwoodcit .or >; Council -Janet
Borgens <1borRens@redwoodcity.org>; Council-Giselle Hale <Rhale@redwood city. org>; Council -Shelly Masur
<smasur@redwoodcitV.orR>; Council -Diana Reddy <dreddv@redwoodcity.org>; GRP -City Council
<council@redwoodcitV.orR>; CD -Steven Turner <sturner@redwoodcity.orR>
Subject: Re: Proposed Home Size Restrictions, Floor Area Ration for Single Family Homes
Dear Mr. Tierney,
On behalf of the City Council, thank you for writing to express your thoughts on proposed floor area rations.
The Planning Commission's recommendation is .40 or 2,500 square feet, whichever is greater, That means that
under the proposal, a 10,000 square foot lot could have a 4,000 square foot home.
328
