Please do not open attachments or click links from an unknown or <br />suspicious origin. o5xfi2i <br />Honorable Council Members, <br />I recently bought a home in RWC with the plan to expand the living space and improve the home's energy <br />efficiency. The single story home, unimproved since it was built in the early 1960's is no longer making the <br />most effective use of the lot on which it is built. With the housing crisis in SIlicon Valley, I plan to do my part <br />to add as much living space as can be responsibly done while being sensitive to my neighbors. <br />I'm opposed to more restrictive and onerous measures that will limit the amount of living space that <br />homeowners can build. <br />I urge the council to do the right thing and make it easier, not harder, to accommodate more people living close <br />to work, and close to family in well designed buildings that accommodate many workers and multi -generational <br />families. <br />I urge the council to resist caving in to the noisy voices of a few individuals who value privacy matters over the <br />greater good of solving the housing crisis. Privacy concerns can be addressed more effectively by good design <br />rather than the blunt instrument of floor space limitations. <br />Before you vote to enable more onerous floor space limitations, consider how much more important it is to <br />choose the type and placement of windows when it comes to privacy.
