A portion <br />of Shasta Street between Chestnut and Main is proposed to be vacated to enlarge the proposed public open <br />space. <br />Downtown Precise Plan Area <br />The downtown precise plan area generally allows for larger scaled buildings with taller heights with no <br />maximum density or floor area ratios. The intent of the area is to create a vibrant city center with offices, <br />theaters, retail businesses, and restaurants serving the residences, day -time businesses, and night-time <br />entertainment populations. In Downtown, open spaces are primarily public and urban in nature, with extra <br />emphasis on high-quality public spaces and traditional urbanism.
