9.A. - Page 26 of 31 <br />TEMPOR PX VISITOR PARKING PERMIT: A permit issued pursuant to Section <br />20.203thos nfynsn rr, <br />which is valid for a ovimum T period of either tweRt"Y r �`'^ � <br />hours one (1) day or fourteen (14) days. <br />[All other definitions in this Section remain unchanged. Definitions will be placed in <br />alphabetical order.] <br />Sec. 20.201. - ISSUANCE OF PERMITS: <br />Residential parking permits shall be issued by the Director of FiRaRG^. Parking <br />permits may be issued to an owner or resident of property within a residential <br />parking permit area or to a guest of such an owner or resident duly authorized by <br />the owner or resident to apply for a residential parking permit, provided, that a <br />residential parking permit shall only be issued to an owner, resident, or guest who <br />has a motor vehicle currently registered in his or her name, or who has lawful <br />possession of a motor vehicle for his or her exclusive use and/or which is under <br />his or her control. Not more than one residential parking permit shall be issued for <br />any motor vehicle. The Director may establish rules and regulations necessary or <br />appropriate to carry out the purpose of this Division. The Director shall require each <br />applicant for a residential parking permit to establish proof of residency and vehicle <br />ownership, possession or control in compliance with this Division. <br />Sec. 20.202. - DURATION AND LIMIT ON NUMBER OF PERMITS TO BE ISSUED: <br />There shall be no more than three (3) permits to -that may be issued to any single <br />residential address within a residential permit parking area, unless otherwise <br />established by resolution for a particular residential permit parking area. A <br />separate application shall be filed for each motor vehicle. Each residential parking <br />permit issued by the Director shall be valid for a maximum of one year unless <br />otherwise stated on the permit. The Director shall cause to be prepared and issue <br />effective on or about January 1 of each year, a distinctively colored sticker for <br />issuance to permittees of residential parking permits, which sticker shall be affixed <br />to the motor vehicle for which a permit is issued at the location specified in Section <br />20.204 of this Division. <br />Sec. 20.203. - TEMPORARY OR GU TVISITOR PARKING PERMITS: <br />A. Visitor parking permits may be issued to residents in a residential parking permit <br />area. The Director shall issue visitor parking permits in accordance with this <br />section.
