Station 1300 <br />Incubator/Co-working Office Strategic Marketing Plan <br />Marketing & Awareness Strategy: <br />Identify Target Companies—Create a dynamic database of small growing <br />companies located in the MV to Redwood City area. This would entail the following: <br />1. Track Venture Capital Company Funding—Focus on Angel Investors and early <br />VC interactions by using industry contacts and our Investor contacts <br />2. Contact Small Incubator & Co -working spaces—Contact those who provide <br />incubator/co-working space throughout the Bay Area to make known the <br />expansion potential at Station 1300. <br />3. Stanford University—With the close proximity of Stanford University, Station <br />1300 would be a logical location to house emerging companies ready to <br />move off campus. <br />Create and Implement Social Media Outreach Program—Social media is <br />important tool used by early growth companies, its founders and employees in their <br />everyday life. Most of these companies use social media for their own marketing of <br />products or services. <br />Develop Highly Focused Marketing Materials—Besides its intrinsic attributes, <br />Station 1300 is proximate to the infrastructure required by startups (e.g., Venture <br />Capital firms, IP attorneys, and engineers). Marketing materials directed at the early <br />stage high growth company sector will be used in both social media (as outlined <br />above) as well as in more traditional marketing methods. <br />Strategic Marketing to Real Estate Leasing Agents—A vast majority of <br />workspace leases are done by commercial real estate agents. Even in early stage <br />companies, the founder or venture capital company has a relationship with a real <br />estate agent who locates and negotiates the lease for the workspace. 'These agents <br />are significant source of lease deals, especially in a company's second or third move <br />up work location.
