AGENDA ITEM H-3 <br />Community Development <br />STAFF REFOkl <br />City Council <br />Meeting Date: <br />2/7/2017 <br />�R of Staff Report Number: <br />17 -028 -CC <br />MENLO PARK <br />Consent Calendar: <br />Waive the Reading and Adopt an Ordinance <br />Approving the Development Agreement for the 1300 <br />EI Camino Real Project <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the City Council waive the full reading of and adopt an Ordinance Approving the <br />Development Agreement for the 1300 EI Camino Real Project (also known as "Station 1300"), as outlined in <br />Attachment A. <br />Policy Issues <br />The recommended action is consistent with the City Council's actions and approvals on the 1300 EI Camino <br />Real Project at its meeting of January 24, 2017 and would serve to complete the approval process of the <br />Project. <br />Background <br />At the January 24, 2017 City Council meeting, the Council took the following actions associated with the <br />1300 EI Camino Real Project: <br />1. Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Menlo Park Adopting Findings Required by the <br />California Environmental Quality Act, Including a Statement of Overriding Considerations, Approving a <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, and Certifying the Final Infill Environmental Impact Report <br />for the 1300 EI Camino Real Project, Located at 1258-1300 EI Camino Real, 550-580 Oak Grove <br />Avenue, and 540-570 Derry Lane <br />2. Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Menlo Park Approving Findings and Conditions for <br />the Architectural Control, Use Permit, and Tentative Map for the 1300 EI Camino Real Project located at <br />1258-1300 EI Camino Real, 550-580 Oak Grove Avenue, and 540-570 Derry Lane <br />3. Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Menlo Park Ordering the Vacation and <br />Abandonment of Derry Lane, Public Right -of -Way and Public Utility Easements Within the Property at <br />1258-1300 EI Camino Real, 550-580 Oak Grove Avenue, and 540-570 Derry Lane <br />4. Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Menlo Park Approving the Heritage Tree Removal <br />Permits for the 1300 EI Camino Real Project, located at 1258-1300 EI Camino Real, 550-580 Oak Grove <br />Avenue, and 540-570 Derry Lane <br />5. Adopt a Resolution Approving a Below Market Rate Housing Agreement with Real Social Good <br />Investments, LLC for the 1300 EI Camino Real Project, located at 1258-1300 EI Camino Real, 550-580 <br />Oak Grove Avenue, and 540-570 Derry Lane <br />6.
