6.C. - Page 23 of 33 3.6.2 Contractor's Schedules. PM shall recommend a process and procedure for documentation and tracking of the Contractor(s)' schedule. PM shall review the Contractor's construction schedules and updates thereof for: (i) verification of conformity to the requirements established in the construction contract for the Project; (ii) verification that all necessary activities to complete construction of the Project in accordance with the design documents and the construction contract for the Project are reflected in the Contractor's schedules; (iv) verification that the duration for construction activities are reasonable; and, (v) if required by the terms of the construction contract for the Project, verification that the Contractor's schedules incorporate requirements for manpower and other resources necessary for the Contractor's construction of the Project. The PM shall establish a baseline and document and track the following for deviations: (i) float; (ii) critical path; and (iii) activity progress including late completion of activities and the resulting impacts; If the PM, upon review of the Contractor's schedules is unable to verify any of the matters set forth above, the PM shall coordinate with the Contractor to obtain this information. Where Contractor does not comply with PM's request, PM shall notify the CITY in writing of such inability, along with recommendations for actions of the Contractor or modifications to the Contractor's schedules so that the PM can verify such matters. The PM shall implement such measures as directed or authorized by the CITY. The PM shall actively monitor Contractor activities for timeliness against the established schedule. Where PM discovers schedule discrepancies that could affect the critical path, PM shall bring it to Contractor(s)' attention such that Contractor(s) may plan actions or activities to remediate the progress (recovery schedule). Where Contractor discovers the schedule discrepancy, PM shall familiarize itself and understand the issue. In all cases, PM shall formally document the cause, effect on schedule, and actions planned and taken. PM shall log schedule discrepancies for review, inspection and/or reproduction by the CITY upon request. 3.6.3 Progress Records.
