EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE <br />VETERANS MEMORIAL BUILDING/SENIOR CENTER PROJECT (Project) <br />CONSULTANT shall provide project management and inspection services to the City. <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT / INSPECTION SERVICES <br />CONSULTANT shall provide general project management and inspection services for the <br />Project. CONSULTANT shall act as the City's representative to provide project management, <br />oversight and quality control inspection services by administering the contract documents and <br />coordinating with CITY, general contractor ("Contractor(s)"), CITY's consultants and <br />contractors, utility companies, and members of the public as necessary to complete the Project. <br />Project management shall include all activities associated with initiating, planning executing, <br />controlling, and closing the Project within the given constraints. These activities include, but <br />not be limited to, the following: <br />1.0 PRE -CONSTRUCTION (TASK 1) <br />1.1 Constructability Review - General. The project management team or project manager <br />(collectively "PM") shall conduct constructability reviews of the design documents to <br />ascertain whether the Project, as depicted in the design documents: <br />(i) accurately and completely reflect the CITY's use/occupancy and Project budget <br />objectives of the Project; and, <br />(ii) the design documents for the Project are free of errors, omissions, conflicts, or <br />other deficiencies that are patently observable so that the Contractor(s) can <br />construct the Project as depicted in the design documents without delays, <br />disruptions or additional costs resulting from errors, omissions, conflicts or other <br />deficiencies in the design documents ("Constructability Reviews"). <br />It is recognized that the PM's Constructability Reviews are made in its capacity as a <br />project manager and not as a licensed design professional. The PM is not <br />responsible for providing, nor does the PM control, the Project design or the <br />contents of the design documents. The PM's actions in reviewing the Project <br />design and design documents and in making recommendations as provided <br />herein are advisory only to the CITY. The Architect is not a third -party <br />beneficiary of the PM's work described in this paragraph and the Architect <br />REV: 08-21-19 PR <br />
