remains solely responsible for the contents of design drawings and design <br />documents. <br />1.1.1 Constructability Review— Scope. The PM's Constructability Reviews shall include: <br />(i) confirmation that the various components of design documents prepared by the <br />Architect and its design consultants have been coordinated and are consistent with <br />each other so as to eliminate conflicts within or between components of the design <br />documents; <br />(ii) confirmation that there are no errors, omissions or other deficiencies in the design <br />documents except for compliance with code requirements, design or engineering <br />calculations, specified dimensions and the sufficiency of the Architect's design of <br />building systems including but not limited to roofing, building skin, mechanical, <br />electrical, data, fire alarm and security to perform as intended. The PM's <br />Constructability Reviews do not supersede the responsibility of the Architect to <br />provide correct and coordinated design documents for the Project. <br />1.1.2 Constructability Review — Documentation. The PM shall submit Constructability Review <br />comments ("Constructability Comments") in matrix form to the CITY for review and <br />consideration. The CITY shall promptly complete review of the same within two (2) <br />weeks of receipt. The CITY shall have the sole and exclusive discretion to accept some, <br />all or none of the CM' s Constructability Comments. If the CITY accepts any of the PM's <br />Constructability Comments, the PM shall coordinate with the Architect for incorporation <br />of these comments into the design documents. PM shall confirm whether <br />Constructability Comments are incorporated into the design documents. PM shall <br />document responses in matrix format. If the PM determines that the Architect will not <br />incorporated CITY's comments, the PM shall advise the CITY of options or measures to <br />ensure that the design documents issued for bidding by Contractors incorporate the <br />CITY accepted Constructability Comments. The PM shall implement such measures as <br />directed or authorized by the CITY. Constructability Reviews shall include: <br />(i) Provide constructability review recommendations on 90% construction documents <br />(90% CDs). <br />(ii) Perform an optional Interdisciplinary Document Coordination (IDC) review. <br />1.1.2.1 Interdisciplinary Document Coordination Review (IDC). Architect shall <br />provide to PM the 90% construction document (CD) plans, specifications and <br />BIM model (hereinafter referred to as 90% CDs). PM shall perform IDC on the <br />90% CDs to identify conflicts, inconsistencies, and missing information among <br />and between the construction disciplines contained within the plan sets, <br />specifications, or any subsequently issued documentation. <br />1.1.2.2 IDC Comments. The PM shall submit written IDC comments to the <br />Architect and CITY for review and response by the Architect. The Architect shall <br />promptly complete review with the PM and Architect shall revise the 90% CDs. <br />PM shall review the revised design documents modified by the Architect for <br />confirmation that the IDC Comments are incorporated into the revised bid <br />documents before they are issued on behalf of the CITY for bidding and <br />construction by Contractors. If the PM determines that the Architect has not <br />incorporated into the design documents the IDC Comments, the PM shall advise the <br />CITY of measures to ensure that the design documents issued for bidding by <br />REV: 08-21-19 PR <br />
