The Findings and <br />Recommendations and the City's response are detailed as follows: <br />Grand Jury Findings: <br />Finding 1: California Health & Safety Code Sections 13146.2, 13146.3 and 17921(b) and <br />regulations require fire departments to conduct annual inspections of all public and <br />private schools, hotels, motels, lodging houses, and apartments in their jurisdictions <br />(mandated annual inspections). <br />City Response - The City agrees with the finding. <br />Finding 2: From 2015 through 2018, the following three fire departments conducted <br />inspections of over 90 percent of the mandated buildings in their jurisdictions, as shown <br />97 <br />
