DES:dj~ 05/28/96 (002/42) <br />,. - -- 0 R I G I N A L -- 6/10/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12798 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY TO CHANGE THE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN LANDS <br /> IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br /> ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN THE VICINITY OF <br /> THE TERMINUS OF SEAPORT BOULEVARD FROM "HEAVY <br /> INDUSTRIAL" TO "LIGHT INDUSTRIAL" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a proposed amendment to the Redwood City General <br /> <br /> Plan has been presented to this Council to change the designation <br /> <br /> in the Land Use Element of said General Plan of certain lands <br /> located in the unincorporated area of the County of San Mateo <br /> adjacent to the City of Redwood City in the vicinity of the <br /> terminus of Seaport Boulevard, as specified in Exhibit "A" <br /> hereof, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference, from the "Heavy Industrial" designation to the "Light <br /> Industrial" designation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said proposed amendment has been duly reviewed by <br /> the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City and forwarded <br /> by said Commission to this Council with a recommendation that <br /> said amendment be adopted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in conjunction with an application for the <br /> prezoning of the lands described in Exhibit A, a final <br /> environmental impact report, entitled "Final Environmental Impact <br /> Report for the Pacific Shores Center Project", dated March 1995 <br /> ("FEIR") was prepared and certified by the Planning Commission of <br /> the City of Redwood City as having been completed in compliance <br /> with the California Environmental Quality Act (Pub. Res. C.§21000 <br /> et seq.; "CEQA"); and <br /> <br /> <br />
