Redwood City Business License <br />The Successful Proposer must either possess a current, valid Redwood City business <br />license or have submitted a Redwood City business license application and fee at the <br />time of contract award. Business license information (application, ordinance, fees) can <br />be found by navigating to the City of Redwood City homepage (www.redwoodcity.org) <br />and selecting "Business," "Starting a Business," "Business Licensing." <br />5.8. Oral Interviews <br />Proposers may be required to participate in an oral interview. Not all Proposers will be <br />asked to interview. The oral interview will be a panel comprised of members of the <br />selection committee. <br />Proposers may only ask questions that are intended to clarify the questions to which they <br />are being asked to respond. Each Proposer's time slot for oral interviews will be <br />determined randomly. Proposers who are selected shall make every effort to attend. If <br />representatives of the City experience difficulty on the part of any Proposer in scheduling <br />a time for the oral interview, it may result in disqualification from further consideration. <br />6. Terms and Conditions <br />6.1. City's Standard Terms and Conditions <br />The terms and conditions set forth in Attachment D - Sample Agreement will apply to <br />any contract resulting from this RFP. <br />6.2. Pricing <br />Pricing shall remain firm throughout the first term of the contract. At the end of the <br />initial contract term and each renewal date thereafter for the duration of the contract, <br />prices may, upon Contractor or City request, be increased or decreased. Any price <br />increases will be tied to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and approved at the discretion <br />of the City. If accepted, the price increase will remain firm throughout the subsequent <br />term. In the event prices are reduced, the reduced price shall apply to all subsequent <br />purchases following the date of the price decrease through to the following contract <br />anniversary date. The Contractor shall submit to the City a revised unit price schedule <br />and supporting CPI information for any requested changes. <br />7. Contract Award <br />If a contract is awarded, it shall be awarded to the responsive and responsible Proposer whose <br />proposal followed all directions in the RFP and would be most advantageous to the City as set forth <br />in Section 10 Review and Selection Process. The award of this contract may not be based on price <br />alone. Factors that would affect the final cost to and the benefits to be derived by the City will be <br />considered. <br />Award of contract occurs when a Purchase Order is issued or other evidence of acceptance by the <br />City is provided to the Proposer.
