6.11). - Page 22 of 38 <br />Attachment A — Scope of Services <br />Attachment A is a description of the services desired by the City. Contractor should address all <br />points in Chapter 3 — Work Plan of Contractor's proposal. <br />Background <br />The City is soliciting Contractors experienced in pump maintenance and repair to maintain and <br />repair the City's water and recycled water pumps, motors and related apparatuses. The selected <br />Contractor will be expected to service approximately 35 pumps and motors located at 11 pump <br />stations. Service will include, but is not limited to: <br />• pump, electric motor, and motor control center inspections, <br />• removal and installation of pumps/motors and related parts, <br />• transport and delivery of pumps/motors, <br />• repair and/or replacement of pumps/motors and related parts, <br />• providing detailed maintenance and repair reports, <br />• providing recommendations for equipment upgrades or improvements. <br />The City currently uses a variety of pumps and motors at water pump stations. The Contractor is <br />expected to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace as needed all models of pumps and <br />motors in use by the City, including but not limited to: <br />— Pump Makes: Johnston, Byron Jackson, FlowServe, Baldor, Paco, Simmons <br />— Pump Types: Vertical Turbine, Horizontal Split Case, Vertical Inline <br />— Pump Flows: 200 gpm to 3275 gpm <br />— Motor Makes: U.S. Electrical Motors, General Electric, Fairbanks Morse, Emerson <br />A detailed list of Pumps and Motors is provided at the end of this Scope of Services. <br />The City may increase or decrease the number of pumps, motors, and/or pump stations, and add <br />or remove models at the City's sole discretion throughout the agreement. <br />Contractor shall furnish all parts, materials, labor, equipment, fuel, tools, transportation and <br />services for the successful completion of the agreement, which includes scheduled maintenance <br />and repair (including emergency repair services). Disposal of any unusable material and debris as <br />a result of the work is the responsibility of the Contractor. <br />Contractor may suggest modifications to the scope of services that will result in cost savings <br />and/or a better product.
