S.A. - Page 91D6126 <br />There is no magic formula to attracting retail businesses in a downtown. With the support of the <br />community, proactive business stakeholder groups, and new mixed-use development projects, the <br />Downtown will continue its transformation and be a place where more retail can thrive. <br />Next steps include developing a Retail Action Plan and analyzing the Downtown policy <br />recommendations (including legal review) for presentation to the City Council by May 2019. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The City Council has approved a budget of $100,000 for implementation of the City's retail strategy.
