Hauling <br />$25 Application Fee and <br />Contractor <br />As specified in <br />Hauling Permit Fees <br />Section 20.65.1 of <br />based on cubic yards of <br />Article VI of Chapter <br />earth removed and <br />20 of City' Municipal <br />distance travelled) <br />Code <br />(actual cost) <br />Ground Water and <br />Based on amount of <br />water discharged on a <br />Contractor <br />Fee formula: <br />Construction Water <br />Discharge Permit <br />gallons- per -day ( "gpd ") <br />1/4 x gpd x $3.56 <br />basis. <br />(actual cost) <br />Any fees charged CCSF or its Contractor by City for or in connection with any City <br />permit or approval issued with respect to the Project shall not be discriminatory and shall be <br />reasonable and in accordance with the amount of fees regularly collected by City from the public <br />with respect to substantially similar permits or approvals. <br />(d) Within thirty (30) days of the Effective Date, CCSF shall make a one -time <br />payment of Forty -two Thousand Dollars ($42,000) to City to reimburse City for its costs of <br />design review and plan coordination in connection with CCSF's MOA Work (defined in Section <br />3.2(a) <br />CCSF shall also reimburse City for its costs of providing reasonable and necessary <br />inspection services, including participation in meetings with CCSF and its Contractor in <br />connection with CCSF's MOA Work (collectively, "City Inspection Services "). In connection <br />with any determination that City Inspection Services are reasonable and necessary, City <br />acknowledges that CCSF intends to engage consultants to perform materials and compaction <br />testing and other testing related to Contractor's performance of CCSF's MOA Work and that <br />CCSF shall provide, promptly after receipt, copies of all testing reports related to CCSF's MOA <br />Work to City's project representative. Accordingly, City will make good -faith efforts to limit <br />City Inspection Services to those reasonably necessary in addition to the testing and inspections <br />to be performed by or on behalf of CCSF. <br />City's estimated costs for City Inspection Services for each City street and park crossing <br />identified in the attached Exhibit B is Seventy -eight Thousand Dollars ($78,000). CCSF shall <br />authorize the City Inspection Services and deposit with City the amount of Seventy -eight <br />Thousand Dollars ($78,000) no less than ten (10) business days prior to the commencement of <br />construction of CCSF's MOA Work. City shall draw down on the funds deposited by CCSF on a <br />monthly basis solely for the purpose of reimbursing City for its actual costs of providing City <br />Inspection Services. <br />Prior to each monthly draw on the deposited funds, City shall prepare and submit to <br />CCSF's Project Manager monthly statements detailing City's actual costs incurred for City <br />Inspection Services, including a description of the work performed, hours expended, and rates <br />for such work. City Inspection Services performed by City staff shall be charged in accordance <br />with the then current City fee schedule. <br />City shall notify CCSF when eighty percent (80 %) of the deposited funds have been <br />expended. If it appears the remaining balance of the deposit is insufficient to cover the costs to <br />provide the remaining City Inspection Services, City shall provide CCSF a cost estimate for the <br />remaining City Inspection Services based on the then - current City fee schedule. If CCSF <br />approves such estimate, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, CCSF shall <br />authorize any additional City Inspection Services and deposit with City additional funds, if any, <br />required to cover the estimated cost of the remaining City Inspection Services. <br />4 <br />City of Redwood City MOA ver 030910 <br />
