01/10/2011 <br /> ORIGNAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15076 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> TRAINING CONSORTIUM AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL SERVICES AND <br /> ALSO AUTHORIZING CITY TO ACT AS FISCAL AGENT FOR THE <br /> CONSORTIUM <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City ( "City ") finds there is mutual interest and benefit <br /> in collaborating with neighboring local government agencies to promote cost - effective training <br /> by entering into a Regional Training and Development Consortium for Public Agencies <br /> ( "Consortium. ") to deliver certain training to Consortium members; and <br /> WHEREAS, City is willing to serve as the fiscal agent for the Consortium in order to <br /> facilitate the delivery of Consortium services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Department of Human Resources agrees to maintain financial <br /> records of the consortium. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Training Consortium Agreement for <br /> Special Services attached hereto as Exhibit A and to appropriate and pay funds for membership <br /> and services in accordance with the fee schedule attached hereto as Exhibit B. <br /> ATT/RESO /RES0.2084 #15076 <br /> 010311 MUFF # 906 <br /> 1 <br />
