Based on the FEIR and the entire record before the City, <br /> the City Council finds that Mitigation Measure 15- 1would reduce this impact to a less <br /> than significant level because it would require that any proposed project adjoining <br /> Redwood Creek in the DDP area include consultation with state and federal wildlife <br /> regulatory agencies to determine the impact of the proposed project on special - status <br /> northern coastal salt marsh community and special - status species and to develop <br /> appropriate mitigation plans meeting federal and state criteria for special - status species <br /> and habitat protection. <br /> Impact 15 -2: Jurisdictional Wetland Impacts. Future DPP - facilitated <br /> development adjacent to Redwood Creek may affect potential jurisdictional wetland <br /> habitat. <br /> a) Potential Impact. The impact identified above is described and discussed <br /> on page 15 -14 of the DEIR. <br /> b) Mitigation Measures. FEIR Mitigation Measure 15 -2 (p. 15 -15 of the <br /> DEIR) is hereby adopted and will be implemented as provided in the Mitigation <br /> Monitoring and Reporting Program. <br /> c) Findings. Based on the FEIR and the entire record before the City, <br /> the City Council finds that Mitigation Measure 15- 1would reduce this impact to a less <br /> than significant level because it would require all projects within the DPP area involving <br /> modification to potential wetlands and regulated waters to obtain permits and approvals <br /> from, and incorporate all modifications and mitigations required by, the U.S. Army Corps <br /> of Engineers, the California Department of Fish and Game and the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board prior to project approval by the City. <br /> Impact 15 -3: Wildlife Movement and. Migratory Wildlife Impacts. Grading <br /> and construction activities associated with development under the DPP could impact <br /> nesting birds. <br /> a) Potential Impact. The impact identified above is described and discussed <br /> on pages 15 -15 to 15 -16 of the DEIR. <br /> b) Mitigation Measures.
