05/23/2011 RESOLUTION 15110 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE CITY/ COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS OF SAN MATEO COUNTY (C /CAG), APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT the City/ County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C /CAG) was formed as a joint powers agency to deal with county -wide issues and concerns that affect the quality of life in general; transportation, air quality, stormwater runoff, hazardous waste, solid waste and recycling, land use near airports, and abandoned vehicle abatement; and the City of Redwood City has been a member of C /CAG since its inception in 1991; and

EXHIBIT A 05/23/2011 <br /> Commission); <br /> (4) Hazardous Waste Management Plan; <br /> (5) NPDES - Stormwater Management Plan. <br /> (d) Perform such additional county -wide planning activities as <br /> approved by or directed by two - thirds (2/3) of the members <br /> representing two - thirds (2/3) of the population of the County.
