CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> ASSISTANT CITYMANAGER (Continued) <br /> Devise effective and efficient operating methods or procedures. <br /> Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations <br /> to enhance governmental operations. <br /> Make sound decisions in a manner consistent with essential job functions. <br /> EXPERIENCE and TRAINING GUIDELINES: <br /> Any combination of experience and training that wou/d likely provide the required <br /> knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and <br /> abilities would be: <br /> Experience: <br /> Five years of progressively responsible and varied experience in municipal <br /> management with at least three years of experience as an executive or senior <br /> manager. Three years experience managing the areas of human resources, <br /> information technology and public information highly desirable. <br /> Traininq: <br /> Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business <br /> Administration or a related field.
