11/18/2013 <br /> SUmmary <br /> A review was conducted of the proposed The Pauls Corporation Downtown Redwood City <br /> Project's impact, if any,on a potential historic building located in the vicinity of the project at <br /> 605 Middlefield Road.This report concludes that the project will not have an adverse effect on <br /> the building and that the Project is consistent with the standazds and guidelines for historic <br /> resources set forth in the Downtown Precise Plan for 605 Middlefield Road. <br /> Methods <br /> This review was conducted by Richard Brandi who holds an M.A. in Historic Preservation from <br /> Goucher College,Maryland and a B.A. from U.C.Berkeley. He is listed as a qualified historian <br /> with the California Historical Resources Information System.With more than 10 years of <br /> professional experience in architectural history and historic preservation,Mr.Brandi meets the <br /> requirements of a Qualified Professional as set forth by the Secretary of the Interior.He reviewed <br /> the plans for the Project,consulted.the Downtown Precise Plan,and performed a site visit. <br /> Project Site <br /> The proposed project is a multiple-story complex that wiil occupy nearly all of the block <br /> bounded by Veterans Boulevard,Middlefield Road,Bradford Street,and Jefferson Avenue. This <br /> area is located in the Downtown Precise Plan area.The project will be directly across the street <br /> from the property at 605 Middlefield Road, located on the southeast corner of Bradford and <br /> Middlefield Road. <br /> 1 <br /> 2 RESO.#15305 <br /> MUFF#603 <br />
