11/17/2014 <br /> B. To determine the location and number of such Car Share Only parking <br /> spaces, provided however, the number of spaces shall be limited to a <br /> number appropriate to accomplish the goals of this program without <br /> unduly interfering with access to public parking by others. <br /> C. To issue Car Share Parking Permits to Car Share Organizations, which <br /> have been determined by the City Manager to be "qualified" as set <br /> forth below. A CSO may be issued permits for one or more or all of the <br /> Car Share Vehicles owned by such CSO, as deemed appropriate by <br /> the City Manager to further the goals of the City's Car Share Program. <br /> E. To establish process and forms to allow CSOs to apply for permits and <br /> to provide for sufficient investigation to determine whether an applicant <br /> meets the qualifications for the program. <br /> F. To establish, charge and collect, reasonable fees for application, <br /> processing and parking permits as deemed appropriate. <br /> 5. To be eligible to participate in the Program and to be eligible to be issued <br /> Car Share Vehicle Parking Permits for its vehicles, a CSO must demonstrate the <br /> following to the City Manager's satisfaction: <br /> A. Car Share Vehicles may only be available to members by reservation <br /> on an hourly basis, or in smaller intervals, and at rates which vary by <br /> time or by time and distance. <br /> B. Car Share Vehicles are available to members at an unstaffed self- <br /> service location and available for pick-up by members on a finrenty-four <br /> hour, seven day per week basis. <br /> C. Automobile insurance must be provided for each Car Share Vehicle for <br /> each member using the vehicle during the period of use. <br /> D. The emblem of the Car Share Organization must be prominently <br /> displayed on both the driver and passenger side front doors. <br /> E. Car Share Vehicles must be less than seventy-two (72) inches in <br /> height and emit low levels of emissions for the applicable vehicle class. <br /> The City Manager may approve exceptions to these requirements <br /> upon receipt of adequate justification from the CSO.
