05/23/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15492 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING THE <br /> MAYOR TO ADJUST THE SALARY FOR THE POSITION OF CITY <br /> CLERK AND EXECUTE THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE CITY <br /> CLERK'S EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to its authority, the Redwood City Council periodically <br /> determines whether to make adjustments to the salary and compensation plan for the <br /> appointed positions of City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted an annual performance evaluation of <br /> the City Clerk, and reviewed salary with respect to survey data of comparable positions <br /> in benchmark Cities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council seeks to acknowledge the performance of the City <br /> Clerk and ensure that her salary remains competitive and in appropriate alignment with <br /> other City classifications. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The monthly salary for the position City Clerk shall each be increased to <br /> $12,180 retroactively to the first day of the first pay period following January <br /> 1, 2015; and <br /> 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Third Amendment to the <br /> Employment Agreement for the City Clerk, attached hereto, to effectuate <br /> the salary adjustment as provided for herein. <br /> 3.
