<br /> <br />26 | Page <br />Docktown Plan <br />OAK #4823-0464-7229 v3 <br />Failure to Execute Agreement to Relocate within 120 Days <br />After Service of Relocation Notice Will Result in No <br />Incentive Payment $0 <br /> <br />Such incentive payment will be made for the benefit of all Owners of the Dwelling. <br /> <br />Enhanced Benefits Only for Senior, Low-Income, <br />Veteran, and Disabled Live Aboard Tenants <br />Live Aboard Tenants meeting the definition of Senior, Low-Income, Veteran or Disabled <br />as defined in this Docktown Plan are eligible for one of two additional types of assistance, <br />replacement housing payments or replacement berth rent. <br />6. Replacement Housing Payments (Move to Land Based Housing): <br />The City would provide a Replacement Housing Payment equal to three (3) months <br />of the average apartment rent in Redwood City as established via a replacement <br />housing rent survey conducted by OPC. The size of unit utilized to calculate the <br />Household’s payment will be based upon the number of bedrooms present in their <br />Dwelling. This benefit will be offered to eligible Households who are either (1) <br />unable to move their Dwelling to another marina or (2) elect not to move to another <br />marina and move their Primary Residence from Docktown to land-based housing. <br />In the event a Dwelling is owned by multiple Owners, the Replacement Housing <br />Payment enhanced benefit will be available only to the Owner(s) who live aboard <br />the Dwelling as their Primary Residence and also meets the definition of Senior, <br />Low-Income, Veteran or Disabled. <br />7. Replacement Marina Berth Rent (Move to Another Marina): <br />The City would provide a payment based on the difference between the Live <br />Aboard Tenant's actual replacement berth rent and their current berth rent at <br />Docktown. The total payment would equal to three (3) months of the differential. <br />This payment will only be available to Senior, Low-Income, Veteran, or Disabled <br />Live Aboard Tenants who move their Dwelling to another marina.
