<br /> <br />25 | Page <br />Docktown Plan <br />OAK #4823-0464-7229 v3 <br />The appraisal process and team is described in Appendix 3. Appraisals would be <br />conducted at the City’s cost. Offer of payment would be made available to all <br />Owners of Dwellings regardless of income, age, disability status, or any other <br />potentially discriminatory reason prohibited by law. <br />Live Aboard Tenants meeting the definition of Senior, Low-Income, Veteran, or <br />Disabled as defined in this Docktown Plan are eligible to receive an offer to <br />purchase their Dwelling if the Dwelling cannot be moved, in addition to the <br />enhanced benefits described in paragraphs 6 and 7, below. <br />4. Cost of Sale Reimbursement: <br />Live Aboard Tenants who make unsuccessful attempts to actively sell their <br />Dwelling by publicly listing or offering their Dwelling for sale to a party who will <br />relocate the Dwelling from Docktown, and who incur costs associated with listing <br />their Dwelling for sale may be reimbursed up to one thousand dollars ($1,000) for <br />such documented costs. <br />This payment will be made to the Owner or Owners documenting the incurrence <br />of the expense. <br />5. Incentive Payments: <br />In addition to all other benefits for which they qualify, Live Aboard Tenants who <br />agree to expedited relocations of their Household Goods and Dwellings and enter <br />into an Agreement to Relocate with the City within the timeframes provided below <br />are eligible to receive the following incentive payment: <br />Qualifying Event for Incentive Payment <br />Incentive Payment <br />Amount <br />Execution of Agreement to Relocate Within 60 Days After <br />Service of Relocation Notice $10,000 <br />Execution of Agreement to Relocate Within 60-90 Days <br />After Service of Relocation Notice $7,500 <br />Execution of Agreement to Relocate Within 90-120 Days <br />After Service of Relocation Notice $5,000
