Don’t you want to show that you care? OPC staff was not allowed to take a boat tour. OPC staff responsible for conducting interviews and collecting other data visited Docktown several times during the preparation of the Draft Docktown Plan. Liability issues prohibited a boat tour. No Change to Document 27 Introduction - Intent of Plan The Draft Docktown Plan does not comply with the California Relocation Assistance Law. The Docktown Plan is not subject to either State or Federal relocation assistance regulations. Thus, the City respectfully disagrees with this comment. No Change to Document 28 Introduction - Comment, Review, Approval and Updates Timing for comments - not enough time especially for seniors and disabled, the timing includes the holidays and it is not reasonable. The City needs to extend public comment to 30 days. Comments received. Will be shared with City Council. No Change to Document 29 Not Specific to Draft Docktown Plan's Content or Intent What does full public access to the land Docktown is located on mean? Requests to be kept informed of plans. The City serves as a trustee for the State lands on which Docktown is located. The statutes granting the subject property allow for limited use of these public trust lands for the establishment, improvement and conduct of a harbor and for the construction, maintenance and operation of wharves, docks, piers, slips, quays and other utilities, structures, facilities, etc. necessary or for the promotion, accommodation, and operation of flood control projects. The State’s intent is for all California residents to have access to public trust No Change to Document
