2/27/2017 <br />City department operations as they relate to child care and early <br />education service program or facility planning and implementation. <br />Principles and practices of correspondence and report writing, <br />vocabulary and punctuation. <br />Principles and practices of record keeping. <br />Modern office procedures including the use of computers and <br />specialized applications relevant to work performed. <br />Applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations. <br />Ability to: <br />Serve as a resource for parents, caregivers, developers, businesses and <br />others on aspects of child care and early education resources, services <br />and needs within the City. <br />Provide leadership and represent the City on a variety of task forces, <br />committees and other forums related to child care services. <br />Plan and attend events designed to raise awareness of the need for child <br />care and early education resources, programs and facilities within the <br />community. <br />Work collaboratively with City departments, local businesses and others in <br />the development of child care services and early education solutions. <br />Prepare clear and concise business and technical reports and <br />correspondence. <br />Demonstrate strong customer service skills. <br />Communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing. <br />Operate modern equipment, including computers and specialized <br />software relevant to work performed <br />Establish effective working relations with others including using discretion <br />and good judgment in difficult and sensitive situations. <br />ATTY/RESO.0016/CC RESO AMENDING CLASSIFICATION & SALARY PLAN FOR SEIU RESO.
