EXHIBIT D <br />LICENSES: <br />Possession of a valid California driver's license, and satisfactory driving record. <br />Possession of a California State Water Distribution Operator Grade D2 certificate. Must acquire a <br />Water Distribution Grade D3 within 18 months of appointment. <br />Possession of an AWWA Water Quality Laboratory Analyst Grade 1 Certification is desirable. <br />EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: <br />Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and <br />abilities is qualifying. <br />Experience: <br />Two years of increasingly responsible and varied paraprofessional experience in water quality control <br />and/or water treatment. <br />Education: <br />A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university in <br />biology, bacteriology, environmental science or related field; OR; OR <br />An Associate of Arts or Science degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university in <br />chemistry, biology, bacteriology, environmental science or related field and two additional years of <br />experience performing water quality control and/or water treatment activities; OR <br />Completion of the 121h grade or its equivalent with three additional years of experience performing <br />water quality control and/or water treatment activities. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: <br />Essential duties require the following physical abilities and work environment: <br />Position requires prolonged standing, walking on various outdoor terrain, twisting, turning, kneeling, <br />bending, and squatting.
