EXHIBIT B <br />5. Maintain records on meter's inventory and meter repair; post information on readings, <br />repairs and locations. <br />6. Test, disassemble, inspect, clean, repair and replace all types and sizes of water meters <br />and backflow prevention assemblies. <br />7. Evaluate water meter data to identify potentially inaccurate readings, identify low and <br />high usage data indicative of malfunctioning equipment, meter tampering, or some other <br />problem <br />8. Calculate water usage from meter readings for proper billing. <br />9. Assist with the review and recordation of applications for water conservation rebates. <br />10. Address customer inquiries about water conservation, high water usage, water leaks and <br />water bill account status. <br />11. Make recommendations and changes to AMI transponder alert profiles to promote <br />customer satisfaction and water conservation. <br />12. Interpret water meter consumption data through AMI Meter Data Management software <br />(MDM) to evaluate, meter accuracy, system performance, and customer support. <br />13. Perform routine site inspections in support of the City's Cross -Connection Control <br />Ordinance, and Recycled Water Use Ordinance. <br />14. Execute and review collection of meter readings through AMI/MDM for billing, and <br />provide information to Revenue Services for billing purposes. <br />15. Review customer requests for water credits, determine when credit is appropriate <br />pursuant to City policy and issue letters of response to customers regarding their <br />request. <br />16. Prepare notification letters and other public information materials. <br />17. Assist the supervisor in monitoring work load, employee performance and compliance <br />with established procedures. <br />18. Perform related duties as assigned. <br />JOB RELATED QUALIFICATIONS: <br />Knowledge of: <br />Techniques for coordinating, training and reviewing work of others. <br />Division policies, standards and procedures related to the connection, maintenance and <br />disconnection of water service to customers; <br />Function and characteristics of water meters and backflow devices, and operating principles of <br />water meters and valves; <br />Procedures for reading water meters and recording and reporting water use data; <br />ATTY/RESO.0114/CC RESO SEIU MOU AMENDMENT EXHIBIT A <br />REV: 12-29-17 MI Page 8 of 19 <br />
