TRANSPORTATION AND <br />TRA -l: Development of the <br />proposed project and the project <br />variant would add traffic to <br />Broadway/Woodside Road (SR <br />84)/US 101 Southbound Off - <br />Ramp (Intersection #6), which <br />currently operates at LOS F in <br />the AM peak hour under <br />Existing conditions, and would <br />increase vehicle delay at this <br />Intersection by more than the <br />five -seconds. <br />TRA -2: Construction associated <br />with development of the <br />proposed project and the project <br />variant would increase traffic <br />volumes at area intersections <br />and on area freeways, <br />potentially causing temporary <br />increased congestion and/or <br />disruption of vehicle, <br />pedestrian, bicycle and transit <br />circulation. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />ARCULATION _ <br />TRA -1: The project applicant shall pay to retime and <br />optimize the traffic signals at Broadway/Woodside Road <br />(SR 84)/US 101 Southbound Off -Ramp. Since Caltrans <br />controls this intersection, the project applicant would need <br />to coordinate with the City and Caltrans to implement the <br />mitigation measure. <br />TRA -2: The project applicant shall develop and submit to <br />the City for approval a construction management plans that <br />specify measures that would reduce impacts to motor <br />vehicle, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit circulation. The <br />City must approve the plans prior to the issuing of a <br />building permit.
