All elevators shall be equipped with smoke curtains. <br />Construction -Related Activities <br />69. Verification for Dimensions — All dimensions, including building location on the <br />site, setbacks, building height, etc. shall be verified by a licensed surveyor. A <br />survey report shall be provided to the Building Inspector for review and <br />approval. Surveys are required before and after construction to verify heights <br />and dimensions. Surveys are required for every floor for buildings close (74') to <br />the 75' high rise limit. [COA][BUILDING] <br />70. All Building Codes Shall be Complied With- If any codes are missed during <br />plan check and or inspection and found it is found later that a component <br />is out of compliance, it is the responsibility of the General Contractor to correct all <br />construction defects so that the all components of construction are code <br />compliant. <br />71. No Furniture Delivered Until a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) <br />is Granted- Only electrically hardwired components that are part of <br />construction that need to be inspected for compliance shall be installed prior <br />to TCO. No furniture deliveries are allowed to the site until approved by the <br />Building Division. <br />72. No TCOs Until the Shell Building is Complete- This includes landscaping, <br />civil engineering, like sidewalks, ramps, etc. <br />73. Sales and Use Taxes — Applicant shall use good faith efforts to register with the <br />Board of Equalization to create an ID prior to project construction and <br />operation. This maximizes the City's allocation of sales and use taxes associated <br />with project construction. Hours of Construction — On -Site Construction activity is permitted between 7:00 <br />a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except as permitted on weekends <br />by the Building Official, and shall adhere to the City's Noise Ordinance. If <br />possible, the noisiest construction activities would be scheduled for daytime <br />hours when the ambient noise levels are highest. [SDR][BUILDING] <br />75. Construction Sign - Prior to the start of any construction work, including <br />demolition, install at least one 36" x 48" (minimum) construction sign in a visible <br />location along the project frontage for the duration of construction.
