06/11/2018 ' <br />Brewster <br />** The Police Department may require additional street closures as needed. <br />• Other Event Notes: <br />Parade Run <br />Several Facilities trucks are authorized to be on the parade route during the <br />Parade Run to deliver and setup parade announcer stations. These vehicles <br />will display a dashboard permit <br />Traffic Diversion — Lineup area: <br />To reduce traffic congestion and to ensure the safety of local residents and <br />parade participants, the PCA is requesting the temporary closure on July 4th <br />of the left turn lane from west bound Whipple to Winslow from 8:00 am until <br />12:30 pm. <br />The PCA is also requesting on July 4th the left turn lane from west bound <br />Whipple to Arguello be restricted to only parade entries and local residents <br />from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. PWD will setup and remove appropriate signs, <br />barricades, and traffic cones. <br />*** Access to the County Jail during the parade <br />The access route to the County Jail through the Parade lineup area will be <br />from Veterans at Brewster, Brewster to Winslow, down Winslow to the <br />County building entrance. <br />*** Equestrian Units <br />Equestrian units generally complete the parade route and leave the area <br />immediately. The exit route for these units will be from Allerton, across <br />Brewster to Howland, Howland to Winslow to Whipple. <br />Handicap Viewing <br />Handicap access parade viewing will be available on the north side of the <br />intersection of Marshall and Jefferson. Vehicles with handicap placards <br />displayed will be allowed to park on Jefferson between Bradford and <br />Marshall. <br />Special Parking for Announcer Trucks <br />A few parking spaces on Main between Marshall and Middlefield, on <br />Winslow between Broadway and Middlefield, and on Arguello between <br />Marshall and Brewster will be reserved from 8:00 am July 3`d to 2:00 pm July <br />4th for the placement of parade announcer trucks. Barricades, cones, and <br />caution tape may be used to identify these spaces.
