10/22/2018 <br />3. Works with Finance Division accounting staff to track budget -to -actual comparison <br />of CIP projects, including reporting results to executive staff and following up with <br />departments as needed on corrections, budget transfers, or related tasks. <br />4. Monitors CIP budgets in order to identify unused budget amounts in projects that <br />appear dormant, inactive, or unable to be finished, and with input from management, <br />determine actions with unused budget amounts. <br />5. Works with Finance Division accounting staff on mid -year or year-end budget <br />amendments. <br />6. Reviews and provides input, as necessary, on staff reports regarding capital <br />projects. <br />7. Facilitates the effective flow of communication among the City Manager's Office, <br />Finance Division, Public Works Services Department, and individual operating <br />departments during the annual CIP budget preparation. <br />8. Works with Finance Division accounting staff to perform asset inventory to identify <br />items that are no longer in use or in the City's possession, and performs annual <br />additions and deletions to capital assets in collaboration with other departments. <br />9. Leads and coordinates CIP-related meetings. <br />10. Tracks Utility Users Tax (UUT) revenue and remains informed of UUT trends and <br />how much will be available for the CIP including UUT related revenue <br />enhancements; collaborates with the Revenue Services Manager on UUT fiscal <br />developments, and coordinates with departments regarding grant -funded projects. <br />11. Ensures necessary accounts are available and used correctly, and expenditures for <br />grant -funded projects have been recorded completely and accurately; ensures that <br />grant -funded projects are billed in a timely manner and that accurate revenue has <br />been recorded, and serves as the Finance contact for granter agency audits. <br />12. Monitors SB1 funding allocations and developments at the state level ensuring the <br />annual Maintenance of Effort (MOE) reporting is completed accurately and timely <br />and advising department heads if required levels of MOE activities are not met and <br />implications for funding received/to be received. <br />ATTY/RESO.0096/CC RESO AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION & SALARY PLAN RESO.
