Experience and Training Guidelines: Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be: Experience: The Endpoint and Infrastructure IT Analyst I should have at least one year of hardware and software end user support experience in an environment that includes Microsoft Windows PCs, Microsoft Office applications and Windows Servicer Active Directory client management tools. The Endpoint and Infrastructure IT Analyst II should have at least three years of hardware and software end user support experience in an environment that includes Microsoft Windows PCs, Microsoft Office applications and Windows Active Directory management tools. The incumbent must also have at least one year of experience supporting enterprise hardware and applications such as Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and other enterprise business technology related solutions. For both levels, work experience in the public sector is desirable. Education: For both levels, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Management Information Systems or related field. License or Certificate: Possession of, or ability to obtain within three (3) months of employment, an appropriate, valid California Driver's License. MCSE and/or other Microsoft certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and/or certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification are all desirable.
