C. Non-profit charitable organizations are not required to obtain a business license. <br />Permits to be Exhibited <br />A. The Permittee shall carry a copy of the Event Permit at all times during the course <br />of the approved event. <br />B. Any person claiming to have an Event Permit issued under Chapter 33A, Article III <br />of the City Code shall produce and exhibit such permit upon the request of any <br />authorized City staff. <br />Permits Non -Transferable <br />Any permit issued pursuant to these guidelines shall pertain solely to the Permittee, and <br />shall be void if transferred or assigned in any manner, except with the written consent of <br />the City Manager or his or her designee. <br />Pre- and Post- Event Inspection <br />At the conclusion of the event, Courthouse Square will be inspected by a City <br />representative for additional clean-up and damage charges. If the Permittee has not <br />cleaned and/or repaired Courthouse Square and restored it to its original condition, the <br />City will clean and/or repair Courthouse Square and retain the deposit or portion thereof, <br />and charge the Permittee for amount of actual costs to recover City expenses for site <br />cleanup and repair. <br />Cancellation of Events <br />A. For all events open to the public, notice of cancellation must be received at least <br />ten (10) days in advance of the event to qualify for a full refund of the permit fee, <br />less any actual costs incurred by the City. If cancellation occurs fewer than ten <br />(10) days prior to the date of the event, half of the permit fee shall be forfeited. <br />B. For all Exclusive Use events, notice of cancellation must be received at least thirty <br />(30) days in advance of the event to qualify for a full refund of the Event Permit <br />fee, less any actual costs incurred by the City. If cancellation occurs fewer than <br />thirty (30) days prior to the date of the event, half of the permit fee shall be <br />forfeited. <br />C. If cancellation occurs, the Permittee will receive a full refund of the cleaning and <br />damage deposit, less any actual costs incurred by the City. <br />D.
