CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER l/lt (Continued <br />Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, public and other <br />governmental agencies. <br />Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. <br />Prepare clear, concise and accurate documentation. <br />Read and interpret maps. <br />In addition to above, a Parking Enforcement Officer II must have ability to: <br />Operate, set up and take down mobile traffic safety devices such as speed signs, <br />LPR trailers, and similar equipment. <br />Skill to: <br />Operate modern office equipment including computer equipment. <br />Operate a motor vehicle safely. <br />In addition to above, a Parking Enforcement Officer must have skill to: <br />Track, investigate, and resolve a large caseload of parking complaints. <br />Experience and Training Guidelines: <br />Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required <br />knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and <br />abilities would be: <br />Experience: <br />No experience necessary. <br />Education: <br />Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. <br />
