<br />Evaluation data will be shared across the two organizations. The evaluation <br />implementation will be completed by the Youth Development staff and <br />coordinated by YFES Supervisor and the Community School Coordinator. <br />IV. Roles and Responsibilities <br />The Kennedy Youth Development Coordinator will be co-managed by the <br />Redwood City 2020 Kennedy Community School Coordinator and the YFES <br />Youth Development Initiative Manager. The co-management is intended to <br />provide the staff person with onsite daily support and guidance, content specific <br />professional development, effective human resources and connections with <br />larger county-wide efforts. <br /> <br />Responsibilities within the co-management structure are: <br />Community School Coordinator/Site Director <br />- Co-develop workplan along with YFES, employee and other relevant <br />school community members <br />Represent YFES and its work to school management <br />Integrate services at the school site and neighborhood to deepen and <br />leverage YFES work <br />Advocate for YFES work at school and community level <br />Provide day to day direction and support to staff <br />Provide guidance on prioritization in relationship to competing Community <br />School priorities/interests <br />Provide detailed input in evaluation of staff <br />Collaborate with YFES on staffing decisions <br />Provide evaluation and budget data as needed to fulfill grant and <br />evaluation requirements <br /> <br />YFES <br />- Co-develop workplan along with Redwood City 2020 staff, employee and <br />other relevant school community members <br />- Represent school-based work and collaboration at relevant county and <br />city events <br />- Integrate services across YFES system and services <br />- Advocate for school-based work at various city and county policy bodies <br />- Provide content specific training and overall professional development <br />opportu n ities <br />- Provide guidance on prioritization in relationship to competing school <br />p riorities/i nte rests <br />- Lead evaluation of staff <br />- Coordinate hiring of staff and make final staffing decisions in partnership <br />with the Community School Coordinator/Site Director <br />- Provide evaluation and budget data as needed to fulfill grant and <br />evaluation requirements <br /> <br />Agreement over $10K 12 <br />City Attorney Approved Version 111803 <br />
