217100 for the installation and construction of rubberized grade crossings in the Cities of San Mateo and Burlingame, (which crossings include Broadway, Howard Avenue, Oak Grove, Peninsula Avenue [City of Burlingame], and 25 Avenue [City of San Mateo]); and WHEREAS, pursuant to the MTC requirements, and as part of the application process, the City of Redwood City will allocate the necessary local matching of funds not to exceed 11.5% and understands that the STP and CMAQ Improvement Program funding is fixed at the programmed amount, and therefore, any cost increase cannot be expected to be funded with STP or CMAQ Improvement Program Funds; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City approves the assurances set forth in the project application, attached to this resolution; and to complete the project as described in said application, if approved, as specified in MTC's TIP; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City understands that the funds must be obligated by September 30, 2002, or the project may be removed from the program; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1.
