5/8/00 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Section 104(a) of the Act, the City has <br />followed its Citizen Participation Plan as part of the process for determining how the grant funds <br />herein referenced will be used, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the aforementioned Consolidated Plan and <br />application for a Community Development Block Grant and to authorize the execution of all <br />documents pertaining thereto, including all understandings and assurances connected <br />therewith; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain Consolidated Plan and application prepared for submission to the <br />United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a Community Development <br />Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, copies <br />of which application Consolidated Plan are on file in the office of the Community Development <br />Services Department of the City of Redwood City, to which copies reference is hereby made for <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved. <br />2. This Council does hereby certify that the City of Redwood City has followed its <br />adopted Citizen Participation Plan as required by Section 104(a) of the Act. <br />3.
