8/28/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13984 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES FOR TRAFFIC STUDY /ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />OF 1061 DOUGLAS AVENUE <br />(PARSONS TRANSPORTATION GROUP, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed development of a new five- <br />story office building and five -level parking structure located at 1061 Douglas <br />Avenue in the City of Redwood City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ( "CEQA "; Pub. Res. Code §2100 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ( "State CEQA Guidelines'; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br />determined that the traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and <br />documentation shall be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with <br />Consultant subject to funding therefore by Trammel -Crow Company (the <br />"Developer'); and <br />WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with the City of Redwood City <br />the estimated fees and costs to be incurred pursuant to said agreement; and <br />Reso -971 1 <br />F: \shared \redwood \council <br />FXS:djk <br />08/07/00 <br />
