WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires professional traffic <br />engineering services; and <br />WHEREAS, Parsons Transportation Group, Inc., of San Jose, California, <br />represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and expertise to perform <br />the aforesaid services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br />Services — Traffic Study /Environmental Analysis for 1061 Douglas Avenue" (form <br />dated 08/07/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, and Parsons Transportation Group, Inc. of <br />San Jose, California, for the performance of the above - mentioned services, a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br />of Redwood City. <br />Resa971 2 <br />F:\shared \redwood \cou nci I <br />FXS:djk 13984 <br />08/07/00 <br />
