e. In 1982, upon application of the owner, variances to certain <br />provisions of Ordinance No. 1130, as amended (the "Zon. Ord. "), <br />were granted to permit construction of a residence at 3733 Laurel <br />Way, subject to the condition that the owner enter into an <br />agreement with the City for the construction of street improvements <br />consisting of one -half of a standard hillside street width extending <br />across the frontage of that lot, and also for extensions of water and <br />sewer mains to serve said property. <br />f. In 1986, variances to provisions of the Zon. Ord. were granted to <br />permit construction of a residence at 3737 Laurel Way, likewise <br />upon the condition that the property owner enter into an agreement <br />for construction of street improvements consisting of one -half of a <br />standard hillside street width across the frontage of said property <br />and also for extensions of water and sewer mains to serve said <br />property. <br />g. Concurrently with the application to improve the property located at <br />3737 Laurel Way, the then owner of 3741 Laurel Way sought <br />similar entitlements to construct a residence at that location which, <br />if granted, would have required variances to the Zon. Ord. The City <br />Council denied that request. <br />h.
