ORDINANCE 2319 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, ADDING ARTICLE <br />XII TO CHAPTER 30 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING PARK DEDICATION <br />REQUIREMENTS (First Reading October 8, 2007) (305) <br />6.5 Section — Claims and Warrants <br />A. Approve warrants dated through October 22, 2007 and usual and necessary <br />payments through November 5, 2007. (303) MINUTE ORDER 07 -189 <br />6.1 Section — Motions — (continued) <br />C. Professional Services Agreement for the Fair Oaks Access and Improvement Study <br />for Community Mobility. City Council /RedevelopmentA_gency Board <br />Mayor Pierce stated that the County had been working toward a visioning and <br />improvements in the Fair Oaks area. This would also involve the Stambaugh /Heller <br />and Redwood Village neighborhood. It would study the options for the bike and <br />pedestrian experience, and safe access on Woodside Road. <br />Vice Mayor Foust further explained that the fiscal impact to the City is considerably <br />less due to the grant monies that have been awarded. <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Ira /Aguirre to authorize, by motion, the Redevelopment Agency to execute an <br />agreement for urban planning services with Moore lacofano Goltsman (MIG) for an <br />amount not to exceed $160,000 for the Fair Oaks Access and Improvement Study <br />for Community Mobility. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. Council may direct staff to act on <br />positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus <br />available in City Clerk's Department). <br />B. Vice Mayor Foust — thanked John Nelson and the Woodside Plaza Neighborhood <br />Association for the annual Halloween movie that extended from the Nelson home to <br />Maddox Park.
