The bid of PENINSULA BUILDING ~~TERIALS CO., in the total amount of Seven Thousand Sixty-three and No/lOO Dollars ($7,063.00), more or less, for Bid Items l-B and 3-C, for the furnishing of 3/4 max crusher run rock and Portland Cement in accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said materials. 3. The bid of J. L. RICE TRUCKING AND MATERIALS, in the total amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-nine and No/lOO Dollars ($1,749.00), more or less, for Bid Item l-C, for the furnishing of pea gravel in accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said material. 4. The bid of LYNGSO GARDEN MATERIALS, in the t-otal amount of Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-three and 75/100 Dollars ($17,633.75), more or less, for Bid Items 2-A, 2-B, 3-A and 3-B, for the furnishing of granite chips 1/2" x 1/4" for seal coating, granite chips 1/4" x 1/8" for seal coating, class "A" concrete (6 sack) and class "B" concrete (5 sack), in accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said materials. 5. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for the furnishing of selected materials, other than the bids mentioned in paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4 hereof, are hereby rejected. 6. Any informality in the above mentioned bids of REDWOOD SUPPLY AND TRUCKING, PENINSULA BUILDING MATERIALS CO., J. L. RICE TRUCKING AND MATERIALS, and LYNGSO GARDEN MATERIALS, is hereby waived. -2-
