<br />\. <br /> <br />SWC:mf 2/5/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8 801 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FEB 2 3 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />TRASH RECEPTACLES AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has solicited <br /> <br />bids for the furnishing of trash receptacles to be used for <br /> <br />municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HANSON CONCRETE PRODUCTS, INC., Milpitas, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Hanson Concrete Products, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Hanson Concrete Products, Inc., in the total <br /> <br />lump sum of Six Thousand Three Hundred Five and 07/100 Dollars <br /> <br />$6,305.07), for the furnishing of Forty (40) concrete trash <br /> <br />receptacles in accordance with the specifications therefor on <br /> <br />file in the office of the Director of Finance, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with Hanson Concrete Products, Inc. for the furnishihg <br /> <br />of the above mentioned equipment in accordance with, and subject <br /> <br />to, the terms and conditions of the aforementioned specifications <br /> <br />and in accordance with the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 801 <br />
