<br />SWC:djg-c 1/7/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 03 4 <br /> <br />OR!GIN,~l <br />JAN 11 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET <br />(SPRUCE STREET) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS <br />AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing <br /> <br />at ~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 9030, adopted December 21, 1981, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described portion of Spruce <br /> <br />Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described portion <br /> <br />of the abovementioned street has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOHE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P..EDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described portion of Spruce Street is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />portion of Spruce Street vacated. <br /> <br />2. The portion of Spruce Street vacated is described on <br /> <br />"Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />3.
