<br />E X H I BIT A <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION FOR ABANDONMENT <br />OF A PORTION OF SPRUCE STREET <br /> <br />ALL that certain real property situated in the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />A portion of Spruce Street, as shown on that certain map <br />entitled "Map of Stambaugh Street Addition" recorded August 17, <br />1912, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo <br />County, California in Book 8 of Subdivision Maps, Page 20, said <br />portion being more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at the most southerly corner of Lot 9, Block 2, <br />"Map of Stambaugh Street Addition" recorded August 17,1912 in <br />Book 8, Subdivision Maps of San Mateo County, page 20; THENCE from <br />said Point of Beginning along the southeasterly line of said Lot 9 <br />and the southeasterly lines of Lots 10 through 19 in said Block 2, <br />being also the northwesterly line of Spruce Street as shown on said <br />map North 290 IS' East 260 feet to the intersection thereof with the <br />northeasterly line of Hilton Street as shown on said map; THENCE along <br />said northeasterly line South 600 45' East 45 feet; THENCE South 290 <br />15' West 260 feet to the southeasterly prolongation of the southeasterly <br />line of said Lot 9; THENCE along said prolongation North 600 45' West <br />45 feet to the Point of Beginning. <br /> <br />CONTAINING an area of 11,700 square feet. <br /> <br />EXCEPTING therefrom the entire portion of Spruce Street described <br />above as easements for ingress, egress and for purposes of installing <br />and/or maintaining public utilities and all related appurtenances. <br />
